A Credit Card Issuing System Built For Modern Banks
Hyundai Advanced Library Card Information System (H-ALIS) is a next-generation credit card core platform designed for financial institutions in Japan to issue credit cards while reducing the development cost.
Enabling Value-Added Services to Cardholders
Japan is traditionally a cash-dominated society with one of the lowest credit card payment rates among developed countries. However, the credit card market is expanding due to the government’s push for cashless payments and the increased preference for non-face-to-face transactions driven by COVID-19. Despite this growth, approximately 190 Japanese credit card and installment finance companies are slow to adapt due to outdated IT systems.
To address this, Bankware has collaborated with Hyundai Card to launch H-ALIS after two years of development. This next-generation core card solution is engineered for small and medium-sized Japanese card companies and consignees, meeting all regulatory and business requirements. H-ALIS can be deployed via on-premise, cloud, and ASP methods, offering flexible and modern solutions to the evolving Japanese market.
